Always amazing
Absolutely amazing food. Everything is always fresh.
Best Greek food ever!
I found this place about 3 days before I left to come home. All my food was very good and I hope to see you when I return in January!

Delicious. Worth the money. Wide variety of tasty food. Thank you guys
Delicious food and great customer service
great
Amazing food and very nice portions! A bit on the more pricy side (as expected though since the quality of food is very good! Meats fresh and not frozen salads all crisp and tasty) you pay for the quality and it IS worth every penny!
Fantastic Family run restaurant. Great food w/ nice owners. You'll enjoy your meal! We have always had a good experience over the past Decade!
The food is the bomb!
GREAT FOOD ! Every item is top shelf. This is one of our top 10 restaurants.
I love it
Love their Gyros! They are the best I've had. Authentic.
Best hummus I've ever eaten
If I could eat here every night it would make me happy. There is enough enough on that menu 2 satisfy anyone. Great place great people friendly friendly friendly.
Best Greek food this side of Athens!
Our first visit, we really liked it. Small family owed, great food, large selection choices, good service.
We enjoyed our lunch well enough, we plan to return next week for a full dinner.
Delicious gyro pitas, huge portion. Some of the best tzatziki we've ever had at a restaurant. Takeout order was ready right on time. Outdoor seating was available.
When I’m on travel with or without my family, I always have to stop by Sarah’s Cuisine ,if you’re in or near Orlando Fl,its absolutely a must visit, there food selections of all middle eastern cuisines always on Point, years of traveling,
this place is one of the best, also trying several of different dishes from their menu over the years, never disappointed ,absolutely amazing ,?
Really great service and the food is very tasty. When I ask for extra side orders of anything they accommodate. Definitely worth the try if you have never eaten their food :)
Consistently great food.
I loved when this placed open up and I was able to just walk there. Since I have moved but continue to make the drive in order to have a good gyro.
Chicken Greek Salad was huge and tasted Amazing! Sam was very nice & helpful. Highly recommend!
My first time ordering. I used Door Dash which is great. I am sitting here eating and saying oh my gawd oh my gawd. THIS FOOOD IS GOOOOD !!! I will definitely order here once a week. This is a 10 star restaurant. ????????????????????
Wonderful comfort food at a great price. My compliments to the owner/head chef for a delicious char on my lamb! ?
Food was amazing. Tender and flavorful kabobs, fresh tabouleh and hummus. Only complaint was that it felt a little overpriced for dinner plates but the portions were large so I guess that makes up for it.
We always love to come to this restaurant Authentic food
The best food ever we love it
Had the Lamb Kabob was delicious and full of flavor. Everything was fresh and cooked to order. Staff was friendly! Looking for an authentic Greek Sara the place to go!
Amazing Mediterranean food and warm hospitality. The food was made fresh to our order. Everything was delicious. Will come back for more.
Visiting from New Jersey and stumbled upon this restaurant. Very fortunate that we did! The food was excellent. We had multiple appetizers and each got a main dish and everything was great. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to the area. Way better than getting takeout from the hundreds of chain restaurants that are so abundant around here.
Wonderful food and nice people. Highly recommended. Been there several times now and the food is always spot on.
Place is amazing. Best greek food around. The hummus is creamy. Just the way I like it. Definitely recommend trying it out. You will not regret it!
Excellent! The gentleman working gave me samples of things and was well worth it. First time here!
I don't have a lot of experience eating Greek Food other than a few times at the Spongedocks but I do know what great food tastes like and the food here is better than great!! I hadn't been in awhile and today I saw one of the owners and we talked a only a bit, but after he left I could not stop thinking about that Chicken Schwarma and an order of Kibbe so guess where I stopped on my way home from work? LOL Delicious...as always!!
Super nice people. It's named after the owner's daughter that's where the Sarah comes from. I have gyro plate with a Greek salad and rice delicious. Had spinach pie Greek salad and a kafta kabob all delicious. Owner very nice guy too
I have never had a bad meal from this place. It is my favorite Greek restaurant I’ve been to.
My mother and I have been going here for years until I moved away to LA. When I finally moved back I got a platter from here and everything was still as delicious as I remembered. The baklava is my favorite I’ve ever had. I’m actually eating it right now. Hah
Excellent food!! Friendly service!
Lamb and hummus is always amazing!!!!
This is my FAVORITE place for Mediterranean food. They are open for carry out. It’s so good and make sure you try their sweets, the pastry chef is awesome!
Best Greek food I have ever had. Everything was seasoned so well and balanced. Great staff and atmosphere. Plentiful plates and they didn't skip out on desserts. The baklava was crisp, nutty and sweet. They even gave us samples of different sauces and dips. My honey was so pleased he tipped extra.
This place is amazing! They have amazing vegan options! I got the falafel sandwich, and it was very filling and delicious. It’s also not heavy. I felt good and energized after eating it. The people who work here are also very nice. I highly recommend.
Great food. We will drive over 90 minutes one way to eat here. You may think I am crazy until you eat here. Love at first bite.
I go out of my way to eat here every chance I get. I wish I did not have to move away I was so sad. We are looking forward to the next time we can go.
yum
food was delivered to me so hot and o point I just love it I extremely propose
love itttt
spectacular service the food was impeccable Fady and Hisham were great the prices were unbelievably so low the desighns of the restaurant is breathtaking I highly recommend
FANTASTIC PLACE TO EAT. WOW!! GREAT FOOD.
Honestly the best Greek food I’ve ever had, best food I’ve ever had in general. First time eating here after my grandmother recommended it and I’m very glad she brought us to this beautiful restaurant. Service was very good and the man that was serving us was very accommodating. I’m not local here but if I’m ever in the area this is the first place I’m visiting. The food is PHENOMENAL!!!
The food here is wonderful! Legit/Authentic Greek! We love Greek/Mediterranean food and this is by far one of the best restaurants we’ve tried. Best hummus I’ve ever eaten.
The staff was also extremely friendly for our first visit! We will definitely be back again and again!
This was our first experience at Sarah Greek Village Deli and it is delightful. This casual cafe is decorated just right and they play Greek/Mediterranean music. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the Gyro platter with two sides(I chose potato salad and hummus). We also ordered the Gyro in pita with fries. The platter was artfully plated and everything was prepared just right. The gyro meat had thin sliced onions cooked with it. This was served with a small side of tzatziki sauce and 4 triangles of toasted pita. The Gyro in pita was stuffed well with meat, onions, lettuce and tomato.
We were served at our table and our server was friendly and as attentive as we needed.
This is a restaurant that we will be happy to return to again and again.
Checked this place out tonight and WOW! The flavors are amazing. The staff are super sweet and knowledgable. We will definitely be back.
If you're looking for the best, absolutely authentic and DELICIOUS Greek cuisine then your search is over, people. Sarah's Greek Cuisine & More will be your final stop!
Sarah and her family pride themselves in their food, presentation, and customer service. Sarah personally prepared our food and brought it to our table, offering us a little history on Greek food traditions and preparations.
I cannot recommend her restaurant enough!!
Food was delicious, I was hoping to see a couple certain dishes but they didn't have them. Greeting from staff was non existent, but they were helpful when not on their phones. I will go back again, the food was definitely worth it.
Amazing food. We came with a big group including 4 children. Very kid friendly and host was simply awesome. She was very patient with us and the kids. All the kebobs were juicy and just the right amount of grill. The homemade baklava was good too. Definitely recommend this to anyone.
This is just the very best food ever!!! EVERY SINGLE DISH! I can’t stress enough the amazing, fresh, deliciousness of literally everything on the menu! We are repeat patrons and have tried most dishes on their amazing menu! Every single person should visit this restaurant at least once...you’ll find a way to come back again and again! The atmosphere is so friendly and Sarah and her family are the best!
We were on vacation and saw some great reviews so we gave it a try. The food is made fresh after you order so everything was hot and amazing! I got the gyro and upgraded my side to a Greek salad and it was very good. Their spices were great and not overwhelming at all. My kids got the chicken screwers and ate everything which almost never happens. The staff is very nice! Make sure you give this restaurant a try!
Wanted to try something new in the area and we found this place on yelp. Upon entering we were greeted by a nice young lady. I don't know mich about Greek food and I asked some questions and she was nice enough to let me try a sample of the Greek egg salad which was amazing. Food was well portioned and you get what you pay for. Loved everything about this place. Give it a try!
What a nice Family owned restaurant. The food was amazing, we're visiting from out of town and I felt like we were home. Customer service was amazing. Worth every penny!!
This place is GREAT!! I've been here twice and recently just stopped by to grab a side of tabouleh to go so I could have for the week at home. The couple people I've interacted with behind the counter have been so friendly and the food is delicious. A very casual and hole-in-the wall atmosphere, but don't let that fool you!
I brought my parents here and it was the best Greek food we've ever had. My dad even said "if this doesn't make you happy, nothing else will." We were served by Sarah herself and she was so sweet and helpful. She gave us a full tour of the menu and even gave us samples! My parents are on a strict diet and she was able to make all the accommodations they needed.
Btw, I'm still sitting in the restaurant while writing this and was just given my open face cinnamon baklava and I'm in tears because of how delicious it was! Served warm, it's like baklava and a cinnamon roll got married.
I highly recommend this place!!
What a find! On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome. We started with hummus and hot pitta, which was really tasty. For entres we chose the combo plate and lamb shank stew. The food was delicious. We couldn't leave without taking some baklava, but were so full up, we bought two to eat later.
Although it doesn't look like much from the roadside, and the interior could benefit from a little redecoration, the cheery staff and excellent food made it a great visit. We would recommend and will definitely visit again.
I absolutely cannot stress enough just how delicious the food here is. I order the chicken shawarma and it is absolutely to die for! If I could eat this for every meal, I absolutely would. The owners, and everyone else I've come across, have been completely wonderful and I will continue to come here for as long as I possibly can.
Never have a bad experience here. The family is always friendly. Hummus is my favorite thing. We have been coming here for a few years and the food always tastes great. Great little neighborhood spot. A must try
I love this place
It’s amazing food very clean and friendly service
Very Delicious
i love coming here for the lamb gyro, it tastes very good especially when you get it in a wrap. the service is great and the music gets you in the feeling of Greek culture . i highly recommend eating here. prices are worth it for what you get.
Very authentic and great quality food. Attentive staff and good portion size. Hard to find a place like this any more.
My husband and I have eaten at many a Greek restaurant all over Florida. From Jacksonville to Tampa. I am generally unimpressed as my mother spent time over seas and makes wonderful Greek food. This time I was blown away. My husband ordered a lamb/beef gyro, I had falafel gyro, we shared the Pita and Hummus and Halloumi appetizers, and each had a piece of Baklava Cheesecake. The hummus was wonderfully spiced with warm pita. The Halloumi was hot and crispy on the outside. His gyro was packed with flavorful meat and plenty of tzatziki sauce. My falafel gyro was absolutely delicious. The tabouli was moist with plenty of cucumber, tomato, and parsley. The best part of the meal was dessert. I wasn't sure about mixing Baklava and Cheesecake together but so glad we ordered it. With my first bite I was in love. The service was fast and friendly. The waiter was more than willing to explain dishes and make recommendations. If I lived in the area this would become one of my favorite places to eat! Highly recommend it!
Stopped in enroute to hotel based on yelp reviews. Didn't disappoint. Teenagers complained then tried it and loved it. Catfish was fresh and fried perfect. Greek Salad is awesome. Shawarma is AMAZING. All Kabobs were great. Chicken Lemon rice soup is perfect. Excellent little gem
Fantastic food! Authentic tasting. Simple looking cafe on inside. Staff is very friendly.
Wonderful food ,especially the buffalo wings, and friendly, quick service. You can not beat the food or the prices! Try the lamb shank dinner for a real treat!
Love this place. Food is always fresh and very filling. Enough for left over lunch tmrw..
Their Lamb Burger is delicious !!!!
Great little wonder of a place
Prices are reasonable and the quality is high. If you're looking for a great quick bite of good food, this is the place
My favorite Greek restaurant since they opened. Great people and delicious food.
Friendly atmosphere & filling food proportions that are delicious!
Very pleasantly surprised by the food! We don't normally eat Greek, yet at this place I would eat it again. The facility was clean and the host, though a bit gruff at first, warmed up to us. They have a variety of dishes to try and plenty of seating indoors and outside. Their menu photos were very helpful in making our choices.
Sarah's Greek Village Deli was excellent!
We had an excellent late lunch
Food is fresh & plentiful
Could not finish my moussaka
My husband enjoyed his lamb gyro
Wish Sarah's would consider opening another location in or close to The Villages FL
Service was also awesome!
This is a small Greek/Mediterranean restaurant inside the roundabout in Cagans Crossing. I haven't had the chance of dining in but this is a spot I get take out from every other week. They have delicious salads with homemade dressings, gyros, moussaka, and beef shawarma that are all perfectly seasoned and flavorful. The prices are fair and the portions are decent.
If you like Greek - you'll like Sarah Greek Village. Came in with three friends and we all loved our meals. My lamb was juicy, tender, and flavorful. The hummus was delicious and the salad was fresh.
Also got the the baklava cheesecake and liked it. I thought it could use some honey on top to kind of rehydrate it because the cheesecake takes away from the crispness of the baklava. Nonetheless, still really good.
Finally, the server/cook was so nice. He helped us pick out some good dishes to try and explained some things on the menu. He was really friendly and attentive, too.
This is a charming Greek kabab shop with excellent food! They have a varied menu with traditional items and a few American items. They are quick to prepare food. The food is always hot and fresh. No worries there! The decor is hand painted pictures and murals as well, very nice. They accept cash, credit, and contactless pay. No WiFi and parking is slim but worth the walk.
Great food
Great gyros and tabouleh! Great service!!! I would highly recommend! Much better than all of the pop up fast food Greek Restaurants!
Delicious food!!! I will definitely recommend it to everyone
Great food!
Definitely my favorite place to order food out. It's reasonably priced and definitely worth over any chain restaurant around. I get the chicken schwarma and always upgrade to the Greek side salad (instead of fries) and I could eat that as just an entree! My roommate and I always order over the phone and pick up to bring back home, the service is quick and accommodating to our restrictions. Would recommend to anyone looking for something new besides burger and fries.
Diner type atmosphere was not nearly as good as the delicious food, served at the right temperature, and flavorful. Recommended.
What a great place to eat some authentic Greek cuisine! Wonderful flavor and atmosphere. A+
They have the best gyros I enjoyed eating here you feel like it is very homey the people are very nice and the food was great they need to get a waiter who can check on you and see how things are the person who served us was cooking and attending to the register and I felt it was a little frustrating as our cups of water kept getting empty and we felt like we were bothering
The lemon chicken soup they offer is so great, and the gyros are top notch and it's such friendly service. I've love eating there with my wife and son. Great way to eat amazing Greek food.
They have best shawarma sandwiches, really tasty .Although I tried lamb chops plate once. Was very disappointed with a tiny pieces of lamb chops and lots of rice and salad. To tell the truth , I love rice very much, but 20$ seems too much for it. So I go there just for beef shawarma.
One word YUMMY !!!!! Definitely can't wait to go back to eat there . Food was fresh , authentic and delicious.
We've visited Sarah's Greek Cuisine for the past three years on our visit to Clermont for the Draft Legal Challenge Triathlon at Lake Louisa. Every year we are so impressed with the taste and beauty of the meal! Love this place - please go and enjoy if you are in the area!
my new favorite place to eat! me and my fianc are vegan (which means mediterranean food is my best friend) and i absolutely LOVED the falafel gyro with the tabouli! very healthy and delicious. my fianc got the veggie burger and fries and he said it was the best veggie burger he's ever had. fries were amazing and super crispy, affordable as well. definitely will be returning!
Just ate at Sarah’s. The food was absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back!
I'm kicking myself right now because I can't believe I've waited this long to try this place out. I had the chicken pita with feta which was so freaking delicious!! The chicken was extremely flavorful, moist and cooked perfectly and the whole wrap altogether was just out of this world tasty. My husband had the gyro and really enjoyed every bite of it as well. The service was nice and very helpful. The tables were clean. Everything about our lunch was perfect. I can't wait to go back again, we'll definitely be stopping in often.
So lucky to have a little Mediterranean place in the area. Most everything is fresh made daily, and service is always friendly!
The best Mediterranean-Greek cuisine in town! Highly recommended!!! Great service!
I came here after work and the owner was so helpful. I got a chicken gyro (which wasn't on the menu). The owner accommodated my request without any hesitation. The food is very reasonably priced. I will defiantly be back.
Probably the BEST hummus I've ever had! I had the Lamb Gyro, stuffed grape leaves and hummus w/pita. Seasoning for everything was on point and perfect. I highly recommend!! Delicious!!
Nice family owned, Greek, casual environment. It's clean, simple, and tasteful. Greeted and served by family. You can see them cook and shave the meat (lamb). Great moussaka, salad, pita, hummus, and gyros!!! The baklava was also wonderful. Appetizers and Meal portions are generous and sharable, the dessert portions are smaller individual size.
Always great food. Owner was courteous and service was great as always
This was some of the best food I've had in a while. I'll definitely be back!
Everything we ordered was excellent (combo platter and hummus), ambiance and cleanliness could use a little work though.
Amazing food. No alcohol.
But simply amazing. Totally worth it. Don't be scared by the not fancy environment. It's worth it.
Awesome food, so authentic and flavorful. Always delicious and perfect. Obsessed.
Friendly service and great food. No reason not to try it. The chicken shawarma is delicious and they make great hummus and salads. They always accommodate my food requests too and get it right.
This place is amazing! And the hummus is crack! It’s so addictive ?????
Tried this because of all the reviews and it did not disappoint. I went very traditional and ordered the souvlaki. Pretty good. I've had better, but this is definitely above average. A "plate" order comes with 2 sides - mine were basmati rice and hummus. The hummus was great - was slightly spicy which made it better. I did have to ask for some tzatziki for the chicken though, which I find odd.
It's in a strip mall, but seems like a family-run joint. The entire time I was there, it seemed full of regulars. Nice, family-run vibe and consistent, good food served in heaping portions. Value for money.
Great place to go eat middle eastern food
Got to try it!
While visiting the area tried this place. Would highly recommend it. Huge servings of food that's prepared after you order. So its fresh, hot and delicious. As usual are before I took pictures. I had chicken kabobs that were very juicy and tender. Husband had beef shawarma. Also excellent. All our sides were amazing too. Rice , potato salad ect....you wont be disappointed.
This is a fantastic Greek Restaurant! Authentic and incredibly taste. The food is fresh and made to order. They catered to my food allergy and were sensitive to my needs. My kids loved it to. Fantastic!!! I can't wait to come back!!!!
OMG!!!! To bad there are only five stars to rate this place. The best Mediterranean food since I moved to the sunshine state from southeastern Michigan
Very heavy on garlic, which will please some folks and turn others off. Fresh greens, tender baked goods. Family-friendly -
Great food and very affordable. Love the service too. Very fresh and authentic
Stopped in for a gyro and they did not disappoint. Loved the tomatoes and onions on this. The meat was flavorful and the fries were crisp. I want to go back and try the falafel.
Casual Greek diner with great food and very friendly service. Many plates are remniscent of fast food (gyros and kabobs), but there are others, like the lamb shank stew, that are more conventional. Everything we had was delicious.
Best Greek food!! The service is good and the food is awesome! We got the combo platter with a Greek salad and basmati lemon rice. We also got the 3 side option where we got stuffed grape leaves, baba ganoush, and hummus. All of the food was absolutely amazing. 11/10 recommend
First time here and it was amazing! I ordered the lamb kabobs with Greek salad and tabouli and all were filled with fresh ingredients and tons of flavor. Every bit was delish!
Amazing food! I’m obsessed!
The food here is awesome. Everything is fresh and made in house every morning. Updated decor and nice staff. Fast service. I recommend eating in, but they do have take out.
I LOVE THIS PLACE! The food is the best ... super tasty and the staff are super friendly ! Although it’s not the fanciest place, my boyfriend and I love to go have dinner there! ??
Pretty good Greek food. Considering I've spent about 2 months there on vacation, I have a good understanding of the flavors. I wish they had octopus, which along with some nice cheese was available at most of the street cafe's.
My hubby and i have eaten here 2x now. Each time different food and different dessert. Not disappointed. The food was delicious with large portions...i couldn't eat it all! I recommend this small family restaurant atCagans Crossing. Very worthwhile! Very very good!
Excellent food! My wife really enjoyed her Greek Gyro salad and lentil soup and I loved the Gyro platter with pita, hummus and taboule. Everything was well prepared, fresh, plentiful and delicious. The atmosphere is a diner type so it is not romantic but the food more than made up for it. The service was good. I would highly recommend it! Enjoy!
We tried Sarah’s for the first time tonight and the food was fantastic!! Will definitely be back.
It was amazing here! Best Greek food we have ever had! Definitely recommend the combination platter, it has chicken, beef and lamb with 2 sides. It was also very easy to find. Friendly staff.
The reviews are correct. This place is awesome. The food is great. It's a no-frills place, but it excelled at everything we ordered - and, we ordered a lot. Even though we don't live close, we will make a special trip to come here.
Two of my favorite flavors in one place. Sarah's food never disappoints! We love their kefta kabob, hummus with lamb and grape leaves! They redid the interior about a year ago and it's so nice. Highly recommend!
Wow!!!!!! What a gem inside Cagan. If you like Little Greek, you will LOVE this. It's all made in house; everything is made in that restaurant. The taste is through the roof! Everything came out amazing; falafel, shawarma, gyro, potato salad, Greek salad, hummus (the most velvety I have ever had) even the pitas were perfect. Slightly lackluster interior but I could care less with food THIS good. If you want a full flavored meal, skip Gator's Dockside or McDonalds and please go here. I can't wait to return!
Amazing flavor, friendly service and good prices. This place has life changing food. The Fallafel was so flavorful, I could have cried. We WILL be back!
Awesome food, well seasoned, made fresh. I've had multiple return visits to this spot and the food never fails to impress. Our group left the restaurant saying "everything was so delicious and flavorful, grilled to perfection & presented so beautifully on the plate!" Highly recommended !!!
I am so happy this place exists! I ate here today for the first time with a friend and my husband. They both had the beef schwarma and I had chicken kabob. $10 lunch platters. The food is excellent and I cannot wait to go back for more!
Five stars for an awesome casual find hidden in a shopping center near the intersection of I4 and SR27.
It's natural to compare Sarah's to A Little Greek Cafe, the latter having several local locations around our home in Winter Garden and Kissimmee. While we enjoy A Little Greek, Sarah's has it beat in every aspect. I'll give my dining dollar to a family owned place over franchise any day of the year, but Sarah's deserves it.
For my meal I had chicken kabobs. The kabobs were juicy and flavorful cubes of all white meat chicken breast, marinated in olive oil and oregano, and chargrilled to delicious crispy outsides while staying tender inside. A few pieces of green pepper and onion added color and flavor to my two kabobs. For the $12.99 price, the kabobs came with a choice of two sides. I had the potato salad and baba ganoush. The potato salad was Greek style, creamy with tons of dill, and a pool of olive oil on top. Baba ganoush is one of my favorite Greek appetizers, and this creamy dip of charred eggplant and olive oil was excellent. Pita bread and tzaziki sauce rounded my plate.
My husband had the lamb, and for his sides chose the Greek salad and fries.
Service was family driven. A friendly gentleman (owner or father would be my guess) took our order and served us. The dining area was no frills but clean and comfortable. If I had one (tiny) complaint, the Greek music was much too loud. We were unable to have an easy conversation without talking loudly. However, we were the only ones there at the time, so a full dining room probably absorbs that noise.
Why were we the only one there on a Saturday night? I hope it was a fluke because this place deserves a following and a long successful run.
OK I'm hooked on 3 things here, however I'm sure everything else is just as delicious. The atmosphere here is simple nothing fancy. It's all about the food!
1. Lamb beef gyro OMG so goood.
2. Hummus with lamb
3. Baklava probably the best I ever had.
I travel often and grew up in Detroit with Lebanese friends. I like to think I have a good taste for this kinda food.
This place is in a little mini mall area. It is so unassuming but amazing and authentic! My husband and son had the gyros which were amazing. I had the Greek chicken skewer with hummus and salad. The chicken was marinated and just simply delicious. Such authentic, fresh flavors. I got hummus and salad and my 2 sides. The hummus and pita was out of this world and the salad was great too. Left there feeling like I ate something fairly healthy after being at Disney all day and it was equally as satisfying.
Friendly service and great food. No reason not to try it. The chicken shawarma is delicious and the make great hummus and salads. They always accommodate my food requests too and get it right.
Hidden gem in Clermont FL
Great foods fresh made and super owners
My husband and I walked in to place a to-go order less than an hour before they closed. The man who took our order was very friendly, didn't mind that we came in late, and offered recommendations to us. Our food came out very quickly, within 10 minutes. It was SO GOOD! Their falafel and hummus is awesome. Can't wait to go back and try the moussaka and baklava (my favorite)! Their service is great and they are a great addition to the Cagan neighborhood! :)
Yum ?
We ate here yesterday and the food was delicious!!! Price was good, and the staff was friendly. So close to where we live too. We will definitely be back.
Place is very small, maybe 15 tables at most but has some of the best Greek food. Service was a little slow because there was only one person working front of house but he was friendly. The hummus was silky and delicious and both the gyro and shawarma are on point. Dinner cost us about $40 for a couple with an app and a piece of baklava for dessert.
We wanted a late lunch, found this little place and we were very pleasantly surprised. The food is authentic Greek, clearly run by a Greek family who take great pride in the quality of what they put in front of you.
We shared a Pick 3 appetizer plate with Hummus, Tabouli and a Greek salad. The hummus was velvety with very high quality olive oil. The Tabouli was very fresh with just the right mint. Not just any mint, this was perfect. The Greek salad was fresh and crisp and perfectly dressed. The Tzatziki was made with fresh yogurt and was delectable. It was finished with the same olive oil as the hummus. As the owner said "Everything on the menu, we make here". That says all you need to know.
This is the closest to Greek food from the food trucks in NYC that we have eaten since moving to Florida. The reason it only got 4 stars is because it's pretty pricey.
Wow what can I say! First time at this place after living here the past 16 years has no clue this place was here. Shame on me! I had a Gyro & it was life. Amazing! Definitely will not be my last time! I’m a foodie & this is another place under my belt!
Saw this little Greek place as we were hanging out at a nearby Cat Cafe. After reading some reviews on Yelp, decided to give it try.
Sarah's is a tucked in the corner of a roundabout, bright yellow lettering indicating Mediterranean" cuisine. The interior of this little gem is decorated in a blue sea with stone to mimic the ocean side. The menu is vast, the seating are diner style tables.
Order was lamb kabobs with basmati rice & hummus with pita. This dish was extremely delicious. Meat was cooked perfect and the rice was so fluffy it was almost floating on the plate. The hummus was topped with chickpeas and oil. I would highly recommend this dish to anyone.
First visit experience was exceptional, you have to try this place if you are in the area.
A family run Greek restaurant. I ordered the chicken kebab with basmati rice and Greek salad. Everything was phenomenal! I loved every bite of my meal. It was beyond my expectation and I will definitely come back!
My wife says this is the most delicious Mediterranean food she has ever had. We have returned here to have one dinner a year and she was blown away again tonight. The kitchen seems to serve bright & delicious entrees and the desserts are fabulous. The family serving and cooking are genuine sweet people. I cannot recommend this restaurant for your family highly enough. Come here and eat everything.
Greek, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern food Hala, chicken and lamb. Fort is so very goo and fresh. Love the chicken shwarma, and the tabouli salad is do fresh tasting and good. We've been back 5 times including dinner today. Great food. The staff is so friendly.
Food was very flavorful. Had Gyro lunch platter with chicken. Plated perfectly. The chicken was delectable and the hummus was just as good. Would definitely come again. Restaurant was a "seat yourself" environment. If you prefer a lunch portion, make sure you clearly state that (even if it's during lunchtime) or you may be charged a dinner portion.Enjoy!
The greatest place on Earth. My wife and I go every time we're in town. Love this place!
This Resturant is a jewel. The food is consistanly good with Authentic Greek dishes. I would highly recommend this Resturant.
Always delicious! We love to come here with the family.
Fantastic food. Clear, fresh flavors; pleasing presentation. The place does not look like much, but don’t let that fool you. This is now on our list of area favorites.
We loved this place! If you are staying next to Disney it's totally worth it to make the drive. Real Greek food. The gyro plate was amazing! Great hummus. We stopped in twice while we were at Disney. Don't let the outside fool you. This place is great and the price is so reasonable. A must for Mediterranean!
Have only been there once but had a great experience!
My wife and I each had a different Gyro (they have about 5 different types) and they were both delicious and reasonably priced for a combo meal. Their menu looked fantastic and like it had a lot of different varoety, will definitely be going there again!
The food here is very flavorful and delicious! The lunch special includes a Lamb Gyro with fries and a drink for $9.99. That is a steal compared to the cost For a lunch at any if the Disney parks. Make sure you get some balaclava to satisfy your sweet tooth for dessert.
Amazing food at a great price, with friendly service. Large portions in affordable prices.
Love love love! I live in the area and this is my go to for healthy food. Easy to get vegan & vegetarian options. My favorite is the lamb kababs with hummus and tabouleh.
Went here with a group of friends (about 6 of us) on a Friday night and it did not disappoint. Parking wasn't hard to find, either, but let's talk about the food! Amongst our group, we all ordered a mix of gyros, lamb kabobs, hummus, etc. My sister and I split the combination platter and their "choose 3" appetizers. We got their grape leaves, hummus and baba ghanouj. The baba ghanouj was perfectly smoky and the hummus was out of this world creamy. Like ridiculously creamy and smooth.
Our combination platter included chicken, kofta and lamb kabob. They were all well seasoned, but the lamb was my favorite. Perfectly grilled with a nice pink center. Although I felt like a stuffed sausage by the end of our meal, that didn't stop me from getting dessert to take home. The baklava cheesecake and baklava made its way back, and I'm currently enjoying the cheesecake for breakfast.
Honestly, although Bosphorus is a Turkish Restaurant and this place is not, this place may fulfill my cravings if I'm on a tighter budget. Apparently, this place also has a lamb shank stew which I'll definitely try next time. Another plus is that they had their baklava cheesecake in stock (whereas Bosphorus didn't when I went on a Monday evening not long after happy hour). Their flavors don't disappoint, their service was so pleasant despite being super busy and overall, I'll be coming back.
Went to Sarah's Greek Cuisine & More last night, and it was INCREDIBLE. So fresh, and flavorful, huge portions, and it was cooked to order...I finished my plate. Today I'm already wanting more!?
I've tasted every dish so far.... Not Dissapointed !!
Always a wonderful experience coming here, both for dine in and pick up. They have a large, delicious menu and beautiful selection of desserts to choose from. I have never had a disappointing meal here. Would gladly come back every week for some real good Greek food!
Amazing food !!! I am so happy we found this place . The red snapper was cooked to perfection very tasty . My husband had the gyro which had an authentic taste .we will def be coming back !!!!
Martin and I try to get there at least twice a month. It’s our favorite for mediterranean food. Service is wonderful and the food is delicious. Friendly, clean. Wonderful!
Simply delicious! Your taste buds will sing! Very nice family owned place in a quaint little spot in Cagan Crossing. Food was superb as was the presentation. Prices are very fair and you get a hearty portion and leave happy. Will definitely be coming here regularly ?
We stop by for lunch and boy we surprised. Everything was fresh and delicious love the spinach pie will definitely stop in again
Only tried the gyro in pita. Wouldn't call it a gastronomical experience, but It was tasty and the fries were better than expected. Service was quick. The place is a bit "worn", not somewhere is go have a nice dinner, but it's fine for a quick bite or takeaway.
Small but amazing! Food was wonderfully authentic and fresh. We will definitely visit again.
Great food, great service!
I LOVE THIS PLACE! The food is the best ... super tasty and the staff are super friendly ! Although it’s not the fanciest place, my boyfriend and me love to go have dinner there! ??
A hidden gem if there ever was one... by far the best Greek salad I've ever had to go along with tender and savory lamb and amazing hummus with pita... quiet little place but man does the food pack a punch full of flavor!!!
Yummiest Greek delights! I happened to be fond of their chicken livers and always ask that they not be over cooked. Keep it tender. I love the Greek way.
Absolutely delicious! This place exceeded the already high expectation that I had! Didn't think I was hungry enough for the dinner platter and I cleared my plate! Can't wait to come back!
We really enjoyed the food. When we are traveling we like to hit a few Greek food places, this one did not disappoint. Excellent flavor, good portions and relaxed atmosphere. We ate inside but there is a nice seating outside. Easy to find and adequate parking.
The food was excellent and the staff was so nice and helpful! We had the chicken shwarma platter, hummus, tabouli, fries and pita. It was all amazing! You can tell they know what they're doing and I still can't believe how nice the gentleman was. We will be back!
We went there for the first time a few days ago. It was between lunch and dinner service so it was quiet. The food and service was fantastic and we'll definitely be going there again soon.
The best Mediterranean food around town. I always get the gyro platter, super flavorful and filling.
Very tasty food. Their gyro lunch platter is affordable and tasty. Service is also good too. So overall would recommend for people to go and try!
This is a small, family owned, Greek restaurant and it shows through their food. The Gyro is juicy and full of flavor and don't get me started on their homemade tzatziki...incredible! I'm not sure how they make the fries so good either, honestly it tastes like fresh oil every time, so clean and crisp. Amazing hummus also. Sarah's is the perfect lunch stop.
Had the fattosh, great flavor. The tzakiki sauce needed a little more flavor but the meat was delicious and plentiful. Wasn't sure if we were going to be waited on and then decided to ask, we placed order at register, not sure if that was the standard. Pistachio baklava was delicious!
It has been a while since I had authentic Greek food. Although I kept it simple, this place is FANTASTIC. I had the hummus, lamb and pita. Ill be back again!
Best Greek food my wife and I have tried in Clermont. They offer a great amount of food for the cost and everything has a great flavor. Our kids love their dishes as well. Would recommend ordering and taking to go. However they have seats inside. The area also have some outside benches where one could enjoy a meal. We haven't tried their desserts. Only reason is because everyone I go, it's just sitting out in the open next to the cash register where everyone places their order. I'm sure is perfectly fine, but we would rather not eat food that people are possibly talking over.
Excellent food! Our party of 6 all loved our food and the service was great! Highly recommend Sarah's :)
The food is amazing. It’s has beautiful murals. The man who served us was so nice and helpful. It was my group and one other table full when we were there and this place deserves everyone to try to food here! Will always, ALWAYS, come back to eat here!
This is one of the best restaurant we eat at Orlando, food is great, parking some times is challenge
I enjoy and have visited many Greek restaurants in the past. This is the best, so far. The menu has just the right selections. But, most importantly, is flavor. Everything from appetizers to main dish and dessert was amazing. Definitely coming back.
The taste is amazing. Their hummus and pita dish has an amazing flavor. Their lamb is juicy and flavorful. I enjoy Greek cuisine, and so far this is one of the best places I have had the pleasure of enjoying.
Our family stopped in for lunch. I ordered the beef and lamb on a Greek salad. It was so flavorful. We had the hummus appetizer and mozzarella sticks. Both were absolutely delicious and satisfactory to our palate. We ended our lunch with their decedent chocolate baklava cheesecake! Wow! Deliciously light and creamy. Ambiance is nice. Definitely a place we would like to visit again.
Every time we come to this place iPhone love with her more and more
We came in we try this restaurant and the server is amazing and the food flavor it’s amazing best service and good food
Amazing Gyro
The best Greek food I love it
adorable old guy greeted me and took my order. the food was pretty good, and had a good portion.
My husband and I stopped in for lunch. I had the lamb and beef gyro, my husband had the chicken. The food was flavorful and fantastic. For dessert we had the Baklava Cheesecake, wow! It was a perfect combination of 2 of my favorite desserts! A recipe from the owners cousin in Greece, and the only place that makes it in Florida! We will be back again on our short stay here in the area.
Everything we ate here was amazing! We were only in the area for a few days, but the food here was so good that when we went for lunch we ended up going back for dinner the same day and we are usually the kind of people that like to try the most things we can when we visit an area. The falafel, awesome. The kibbeh, awesome. The holumi, awesome! Baklava, awesome! Service was friendly and timely. I can’t say enough nice things about how tasty everything was.
Best greek food I've had in a long time. The lamb with humus was awesome. They also had a great selection of baklavas. I ended up eating two.
What a great find! Great food in a very casual but genuine setting no. THE best spanikopita I've ever tasted, we ordered 3 more to go! Highly recommended!!!
Awesome Gyros! Fast service too. Try it!
It’s amazing lovely food home make
Outstanding hole in the wall place. Family owned and operated. Everything was very good
Great, fresh food! The guy serving us also made our food, and he was so nice. He even brought us a small taster plate to make sure we’d like what we ordered. We had never had Baba Ganouj, and it is DELISH!
We have been coming here for quite some time. The restaurant isn't usually busy, lots of take outs . The owner always greets us and is quick to take our order. The food is really good, fresh and authentic.
We had a delightful experience at Sarah's Greek Cuisine. We ordered Lamb Kabobs with Hummus, Pita and Tabbolah. The lamb was moist, seasoned well, quite tasty and the portion size generous. We had a special Cheesecake Baklava for dessert. This quaint neighborhood style restaurant is definitely worth a visit!
Great food!!!! That's all I can say. You must try it for yourself.
Wonderful food, great service and hospitality!! Couldn't ask for better Greek food....
We went to eat at the place next door ,saw the Greek Place . We went there instead . It was so good we went back the next day for lunch.
Great food! Great service! We tried it when we visited Orlando and loved it! We came back every day during our stay in Orlando!
While staying at a Disney area resort, we searched Yelp for an interesting, reasonably priced place to grab an early dinner. We don't have Middle Eastern food at home, so decided to give this a try. We split a beef shwarna dinner with Greek salad and fries, then added hummus and an extra side of potato salad plus two warm pitas. The restaurant does a brisk take out business but we at in and am glad we food a we could add to our order. The food far exceeded our expectations, prepared fresh to order. The beef shwarma was so incredibly flavorful. The pitas were warm and chewy. The potato salad was slightly sweet, which is exactly how my husband likes it. Even the fries were crispy on the outside but tender inside. Would go again in a heartbeat, maybe even again this trip!
ITs AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
We come to Sarah's everytime we come into town. Love the food! Best Turkish coffee and desserts
Best Greek Lebanese food
We stopped on our drive back to Miami and decided to have some Greek food on the way home. Boy, are we glad we found this little gem. The owner was very nice and the food was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to return!
Absolutely delicious
We are lucky enough to live nearby and eat here often. I have had great Greek food in NYC and this food is not only comparable, even better than most! Authentic amazing home-cooked meals
We live in this area and have somehow missed out on eating here. Not anymore! We will definitely be back! Food and service were wonderful.
I don't eat Mediterranean very often, but I was looking for something different, and decided to give it a try.
It was empty when I walked in but the smell was phenomenal! The aroma of the spices had my mouth watering.
The gentleman at the register was friendly and helpful when I said I wasn't sure what I wanted.
I started with Spanakopita as an appetizer, and Chicken Shawarma, hummus and tabbouli as sides.
The Spanakopita was a large portion, and was full of flavor. I could have been satisfied with just that. But the shawarma was calling me.
The Tabbouli was wonderful, a flavor explosion that left me wanting more.
The chicken shawarma was tender and the spices added a dimension that I really enjoyed.
The hummus had a great presentation, and the flavor was sensational.
The service I received was top notch, it was an extremely pleasant meal.
There were many call in orders and a few patrons after I arrived, the interaction was always friendly and nice.
Absolutely planning on a return trip!
Absolutely delicious! It's family owned and the food is authentic.
I came here with my coworkers and we all enjoyed the food.
????
We didn't set out today to eat here, just selected it as our second option after our first choice wasn't open. What a pleasant surprise! This is my family's first Greek food experience, and we wad lots of questions. The owner came by and answered our questions and took our order. While we waited, we had a chance to look around at the artwork/decor. There were a few...murals?...let's call them murals, around the place, enough to add some character to the space. This is a small restaurant on a corner in a shopping "village" near our home. I'll be frank, this development has been there for almost 15 years, and the businesses there struggle, and many have not made it. Anyway, the manager brought our food (after going back to at least help prepare it). My wife and son ordered the gyros. Raves. I ordered the shawarma gyro. I have limited experience with Greek food, but I instantly had a new food category in my top five after this meal. My daughter had the Greek salad, which was perfectly flavored, with ample amounts of feta. I recommend this place, and I hope it's able to make it go. There are so many chain restaurants around, and they're ok, but my family is going to begin to check out some local business like this. Sara Greek Village is obviously family run, and the owner greeted us, took our order, cooked our food, served it, and cashed us out. He-they-know what they're doing. Check it out.
Easily one of my favorite restaurants in the area, and if you go, you must try the Moussaka!! Outstanding!
Ordered a gyro combo and a spanakopita. I couldn't be happier!! The gyro is moist and delicious, the spanakopita is out of this world. Well worth the trip.
Exceptional food and service!
I live in the area and love coming here for delicious meals. Favy always makes sure everything tastes delicious and cooked to order. Nice menu with various options to make everyone happy. Very authentic cuisine as well. I love their platters. Desserts are amazing! It's a must check out place if you are looking for great local dining options.
This restaurant is love through and through! The menu is perfect for the size of the place.
Delicious!!! I had the Chicken Kabob with Basmati and Greek Salad. The grape leaves melted in my mouth. To end the meal I enjoyed the pistachio baklava. It was so buttery and delicious. If you are in the area don't pass this place by or you will regret it. One of the best authentic restaurants in the area and family owned.
Traditional Greek food. Very good. Try The Baklava cheesecake it was wonderful
Lovely flavor, presentation, and exceptional staff! The food was amazing, very well priced, and it made our bellies very happy. Will definitely be eating here again!
I usually head to downtown Orlando for Greek food (a feat!), so I was thrilled to learn about Sarah Greek Village Deli. This is a small family owned restaurant, great for a lunch or casual dinner, has a vast menu with classic favorites and contemporary twists on Mediterranean cuisine. Our table ordered a serving of saganaki - and at first I was disappointed when a plate of what appeared to be mozzarella sticks arrived at the table; however, these were scrumptious bites of breaded kasseri cheese (I just wish they would've labeled this better on the menu.) For lunch, I ordered the gyro platter, which was a very generous portion of hummus and lamb meat with 2 sides. I selected the Hummus and the Basmati rice, all delicious. My only critique is of the tzatziki sauce, which I found to be a bit watered down. All in all, a good find and I'll be back to sample more.
A Beautiful falafel burger makes my day! This place is very clean, good service and delicious food! I am happy, this was a Excelent choise today
Found this little gem after getting awesome mani/pedis from Kim and Twee at nearby Tiffany nails. The owner is very friendly & courteous. Had the falafel sandwiches with Greek salad sides. Delicious! Have returned twice and tried the baklava- melts in your mouth! Have yet to try the baklava cheesecake or any other dishes because we enjoyed the falafel and baklava so much. We will be regulars just like so many return customers we noticed during our last visit.
The BEST baba ganoush I've ever had! Best seasoned chicken gyro I've ever had. I know I sound happily redundant. My husband loved the beef and lamb gyro. The tzatziki sauce was phenomenal on both gyros, and obviously homemade. I like my hummus more lemony and garlicky, but it was good. Many types of baklava. I had the one with some coconut and different nuts and, I think, raisins. It was tasty, but I like it a little crisper. Overall, the place is so worth driving the distance for. I wish they had one in Pennsylvania! The icing on the cake is you can tell these people REALLY want you to enjoy their food and are very hospitable. They actually care. The love is in the food!!! Don't miss this place! I wish I could have tried more.
Excellent service, the food is really delicious, there is plenty of parking spot around the restaurant. Try the feta & spinach pie . Freshly made sandwiches.
We just finished our dinner at Sarah's Greek Cuisine. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. They even made custom dishes for us as first time visitors not knowing exactly what to order. Price & portions were very reasonable. We will definitely be back for another great dinner!
This place is a treasure gem. Incredible, authentic food and the service is wonderful. Best gyro you'll ever have. Everything home made and excellent.
Every time we come here it's better than the time before. Absolutely love the lamb burger, it's one of the best lamb dishes I've ever had!
Absolutely love the food, customer service and very friendly owner. Can't wait until our next visit and hope he opens one in Daytona/Ormond.
I ate here last night while on vacation in Orlando! It was so yummy... some of the top Greek and Lebanese food I've had! It's a quiet and tiny place but the service was awesome and so accommodating! Prices were also so reasonable! I ordered a sampler plate with Humus, Stuffed grape leaves, falafel, and salad... it was so good! Also my girlfriend got the Chicken shawarma with tabouli and basmati rice... seasoned perfectly! So yum yum yummy! I'm sad to live so far away but I will be back for sure! Next time I'm in Orlando... this is the place to get a great meal! Delicious!
Delicious quick Mediterranean cuisine, great portions and friendly, pleasant service. Will definitely be coming back!
We always seek out Greek food at home and when on vacation. This trip was a vacation to Universal in Orlando. We found Sarah's Greek Village Deli, by doing a Google search. Using the maps app on my phone we go to the deli in no time. I just loved the feel as I walked through the door. The menu is well designed, not difficult to understand. Choices are plenty. We ordered the Gyro as always and the Pastitsio. We love authentic Greek/Mediterranean cuisine. The deli had plenty of inside dining as well as a few tables outside. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was served hot and in good time. The meat was cooked and served not burnt or crispy, just right. The meat was not frozen but shaved from the cone. The Tzatziki Sauce was wonderful! The pita wasn't dry, but warm and soft. The gyro had just the right amount of vegetables. I highly recommend this Deli when traveling or living in the area. We most definitely will return!
I have eaten here twice with my family. Both times I had a great experience. The employees are nice and the food taste great.
Quaint and good. Small place, casual, great food. Portions are good size, not oversized. The tobouli was fresh! 5 stars for good food at good prices
Some of the best Greek food my family and I have had, the Lamb is juicy tender and perfectly seasoned their sides and appetizers are incredibly delicious. If you like baklava and cheese cake they have an in-house made baklava-cheese cake you MUST TRY.
The food is absolutely amazing and delicious!! Had the beef/lamb gyro and Greek salad. If I lived here I would be a regular customer!
First of all great customer service! So thumbs up for that, they had a good variety of dishes, today I ordered chicken Shawerma(I loved it) and my husband ordered Gyro; The gyro needed a little more seasoning in my opinion but It was good, great portions for a good price. Definitely going back.
My fiancé and I chose to give this place a try since it had such good reviews and we were not disappointed! This place has the love and feel of a true mom and pop shop. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the food is amazing! Portion size is perfect and the price is very reasonable. Overall: great staff, great food, great price! We will be coming back again!
Found this place using YELP on an iPhone. It was a great place. Only been open for a few months. The service was great even though waiters are not used. The owners provided very personal service. They provided a sample plate while waiting for our order to be freshly prepared. My wife and I each had the combo dinner. It was a lot of very good food.
The rest of my family ate Greek and loved it. However, I was in the mood for fried chicken and I would have to say that it was perhaps the best fried chicken that I've ever eaten. It was both crispy, moist, and moderately spicy (a very rare combination). In addition, it was almost like the meat was marinated in that the "internal" taste was also excellent. If only they had gravy and mashed potatoes it would be heaven on Earth. The owner told me that her dad (the cook and coowner) used to cook in New Orleans and that one of his specialties was fried chicken. It shows and this place is worth a drive just for the fried chicken.
Best Gyro we have had in a long time, lots of meat, great sauce, and perfectly warmed, almost toasted pita. Fries crispy and hot. Cookies and pastries made in-house. All friendly staff. It is a "must do" if you are in the area.
Stopped in for a quick bite with my daughter. She is not as adventurous as most so wasn't sure what to get. We settled on the chicken gyro and chicken kabob. Delicious food! Although I wouldn't say the chicken kabob is what I would call Greek...although perhaps I just don't know as I'm not Greek. It had more of a curry taste however was absolutely AMAZING!! The gyro was good as well but we certainly preferred the kabob sandwhich. The staff was very helpful as we tried to decide and very friendly and relaxing atmosphere...felt more like visiting someone's home. The menu and location was dated and could use some work...but as is often the case...this was only evident of a location is more focused on serving up authentic delicious food! Worth a visit for sure!!
Great food and great prices!!!! Everything tasted homemade and delicious. Friendly workers as well. I loved everything was made to order not just sitting around waiting to be put together. This is the best Mediterranean food I have had since moving down to Florida outside of Tarpon Springs.
Good gyro and lunch platter was fairly priced. Overall good local place to eat. Outside the tourist sector so go #beyondthebubble.
They make the best gyros I've ever had! And no wonder, because they actually strip the meat themselves, no frozen junk. Really nice, family owned place in the community. Five stars.
We stumbled on this gem! The food is fabulous and the owner and her father are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Every time we've gone there, they've offered samples and excellent homeade sauces to complement our orders. The kids (who are in the "I only eat chicken" stage) actually learned that they also love falafel (who knew?!) because of the free sample plate the owner brought over. While I was a vegetarian at the time, my family raved about the fried chicken, the owner's father's secret recipe (they run the restaurant together and it's named after the owner's niece). I'm not usually a fan of falafel, but it was definitely the best I've had outside of the Middle East, not at all dry. The owner was also very accomodating of my request for a grilled vegetable pita (not on the menu) and it was so good (very flavorful seasoning and sauces and soft pita) that it's now all I order--in fact, I have a serious craving as I type this! I highly recommend this restaurant and really miss it now that we no longer live nearby. We now live near Med Blue and I have to disagree with Aaron's post, I think that Sarah's is MUCH better. We need to swap! :-)
Excellent food! If you tell them it's your first time, they explain the menu to you and let you try samples. Everything is made fresh and is hot when you get it. Very tasty food and very friendly staff!
This place is great. Staff is wonderful. I had the lamb kabob combo. Came with 2 skewers, pita, tabbouleh and hummus. Lamb was tender, and the tabbouleh and hummus were great. The only thing is I like my tzatziki creamier. Other than that, really yummy!
I had the pleasure of visiting Sarah's for the first time a few weeks ago. I got the lamb gyro combo as recommended by a friend, and it was excellent. Full of flavor and excellently spiced. I didn't have time to try the hookah as well, but will definitely go back to do so. 10/10 would (and will) recommend to friends.
The guy who runs the place doesn't speak English very well but he makes good food. The food is always very good there especially the gyros. It's a very small restaurant. Not good for big parties. And the prices are a little high.
Found this while looking for the local Farmers Market. I'm from Chicago, so I know Greek food and this by far has been the best Gyro I've tried in the 20 yrs. I've been here. The meat slicker is in plain sight, so you know it's fresh. It could definitely could have come with extra sauce, but the meat was so tasteful that it didn't need it. And the pita...OMG! Warm fresh baked goodness:)
Really good gyros and not crazy amount of onions but just enough and lots of meat. Not bad baba ghannoush, so far best in Florida. Will have to go back and try falafel! Service was good but a bit pricey!
Another new kid in town, Sarah Greek Village Deli has only been around for a few months. We went there for lunch and both ordered the Gyro. I should say specifically that we ordered the lamb gyro since they have a chicken option too.
I will preface this by saying that I used to live near a Greek Orthodox church that had festivals twice per year so I was spoiled with some of the best Greek food ever. That being said, we both really enjoyed the gyros that we ordered. The meat was perfect and the gyro was so large that we were stuffed before we could finish them! The tzatziki sauce was not as creamy as what I am used to, but it still has a delicious flavor.
Before we left I got some baklava for us to snack on later. I liked the baklava. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but it is something that I would happily have again.
I hope to go back soon and try some of the other items on the menu!
Delicious Greek-Lebanese food. Daily $5.99 specials. The gyro was delicious with house made tzatziki. The tabbouleh is very good as well. I really liked the spanakopita - it is different than what I've had before. It's less cheesy and more spiced than any spanakopita I've had. I liked the bitter and savory filling in the flaky warm phyllo. The sides are a bit pricy, so go for a combo deal. Recommended for juicy, flavorful, lamb gyros and homemade tzatziki!
The only thing I can say is AMAZING!!!! The gyros are delicious and the price is reasonable. Staff is great. A hidden gem in Clermont.
I love Geek food, and although it's taken me a year to visit this place since moving into the area I was excited to try it.
I ordered the combo meal - a lamb gyro and ordered up ($1 extra) for a salad instead of getting the fries that come with it.
Being a former food reviewer, I was very, very pleased with the meal, just wished the salad had more green olives in it. I only had one.
Besides that, the only other thing that made the experience less pleasant was when I went to pay the check. I was told by the cook that I could get any drink out of the cooler since it was included in the meal, including the bottled water. He said any. I saw one bottle of orange juice left so I got that. The woman who checked me out at the register told me I had to pay more for the juice, because it costs them extra to buy. It was only the canned sodas that went with the meal, she said - even though the sign for the combo show a BOTTLED drink with it. I decided not to argue and paid the extra instead WITH a small tip. After I signed the check she said it must have been a misunderstanding.
Seriously, being on both ends of costumer service in the past, she should of let me have the drink with no extra costs. Bad move Sarah Greek Village Deli.
So other than the confusing extra cost for a drink that should have been included with the price of the meal, everything else was spot on. Enjoy.
My family dined here a couple of weeks ago for lunch. There was a gyro combo lunch special which both my husband and son ordered. I order the falafel combo. All three of us were delighted with our meals.
While waiting for our orders, I was glancing over at the items in the display case that we sat next to and noticed something labelled "Baba Ganoush." I asked the girl behind the counter (who I later learned was Sarah herself) what it was and she kindly put together a small tasting plate for us with the baba ganoush and a few other goodies.
We were all very impressed with both the food (which was being cooked by Sarah's dad) and the service. We will definitely be going back.
Everything on he menu is delicious. Staff is great! They always remember us and our order. We feel like part of there family. If they have any baklava cheesecake in the case...... Its a must try!
Sarah's Greek and Mediterranean Restaurant is a hidden away treasure off the beaten path that provides a friendly and inviting atmosphere. We happened upon this restaurant by chance as I was on vacation with my family. We were greeted with friendly smiles by "Sarah" and cook. They were helpful as they described their dishes to my children with great care and attention to each question. Their suggestions did not disappoint. The dishes were great, served with generous portions. My family (6 kids) enjoyed their food and desserts! Awesome. We went back a few days later to enjoy again. I would recommend this to anyone willing to try something different than the "usual" restaurants.
Average cost with drinks (per person) $12
Great casual Greek food. The falafel starter and gyros meal are both great & what I usually get. I was there last weekend with a friend and she got the spanakopita and the domas (stuffed grape leaves) and she said they both were very good!
Ordered takeout for lunch. The menu was a bit confusing with no real descriptions but, the staff was very friendly explaining the different options.
My husband had the grape leafs as an appetizer and he said they were great. I had the grilled shrimp patter with humus and greek salad. The shrimp had great flavor and the hummus was delicious. Greek salad was good as well. My husband had the spanakopita and Greek salad. The spanakopita was good but we have had significantly better.
We also ordered the snapper special to take home for later. It was amazingly delicious. So glad we ordered it for later.
Only issue is when I got the food to my husbands office there was not plastic wear or napkins. I had to go buy them. What an inconvenient delay to our lunch date.
We will definitely return.
Everything here is a tad pricey but the service makes up for that. The hummus and pita are great, the falafel is amazing. It could have had a bit more sauce but still great. My son had a gyro (his first but he said it was good) and the best thing of the night was the fried chicken. It takes a minute to cook but it's worth the wait. I'm vegetarian so I couldn't try it but my dad (who is 71 so he's been around some fried chicken) said it was the best he'd ever had. The only reason I gave it one less star is the Dad should probably not run the register. It warms my heart to see a family running a business together and I'm not trying to be mean, but customer service is not his thing. He was a little grumpy with us when we mentioned that he got our order wrong. No worries though, the other staff made up for it.
What an awesome surprise! At first glance this seemed like just another quick service spot but wow, were we shown that there is far more than what meets the eye! First off, AMAZING service! Sarah was very helpful and friendly from the moment we stepped in the door. She gave awesome recommendations and even let us sample a few of the side items. I decided on the kabob combo and my wife had the gyro platter. Between the two of us we tried the Greek salad, tabouleh, potato salad (not your average potato salad by the way) and the hummus. There is literally nothing bad I can say about anything! The presentation was beautiful, the meat was seasoned perfectly (between the two of us we tried 4 different meat offerings and everything was exceptional), the sides were fresh and garnished beautifully. Take a look at my pictures and you'll see what I mean! Not what you would expect from a deli! For dessert we opted for the baklava cheesecake and the original baklava, again, an awesome recommendation from Sarah. The cheesecake baklava was so unique and delicious! It's made with a Greek yogurt cream cheese so it's less dense than regular cheesecake. The original baklava is served warm which really brings out the flavor. Needless to say we will be back very soon! This is an awesome little spot. Thanks for the awesome service and amazing food!
My boyfriend and I tried Sarah's yesterday and we were pleasantly surprised. I have never had any Greek food, other than hummus, so I got the Chicken Gyro (with the sauce on the side) which was delicious. The chicken was seasoned deliciously and juicy, the pita was delicious and I never ended up using the sauce. My boyfriend had the Beef Shawarma plate with the Greek Salad and Hummus which was also delicious and fresh. Servings were large and filling. The staff a helpful and informative. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
A fabulous and rapid lunch. The owner is a very nice guy and his employee from Clifton NJ is a good Florida transplant.
Just stumbled into Sarah's Greek after a quick trip to lowe's. What a great surprise! Friendly staff who let me sample the made from scratch tziki and humus, fantastic gyro. Awesome food. Support local business and swing through. You won't be disappointed :-)
Amazing Greek food! The owner is on staff and makes sure everything is on point. This is by far the BEST Greek Restaurant in Clermont. Fresh food, reasonable prices. Try the chicken gyro, it's very good!
This place is fantastic! Sarah is friendly, warm, and genuinely happy to be there! The food is very traditional and beautifully served. The Chicken Shawarma was delicious, as she suggested it would be. What a gem!
We were 6 people and we all loved our food. Friendly waitress and service. Moussaka was great and delicious. We have Middle-eastern background and loooooooved the food. Give it a try, you won't regret it.
Excellent cafe style restaurant. Food was great, served fresh, by very friendly and accommodating staff. Clearly a family business, clean, friendly, delish!
Me and my wife have been here twice. Great restaurant and family ran. Even if you know nothing about Greek food, this is a place to stop for an amazing snack or slower paced dinner. Not a chain restaurant. If your a foodie (and you know if you are), you should definitely stop by and say hello to Sarah.
A friend turned me onto this place and it is easily the best Greek in the area! Sarah is always there and always pleasant! I usually get the moussaka, grape leaves and hummus. Hummus is seriously delicious!! If you like Greek/Lebanese and are in the area, give this a go. You won't be disappointed!!
I don't know how this place is not rated 5 stars. It is excellant. Had the chicken Kabob and lentil soup. Awesome. Hummus had a kick to it. Place was authentic.
As a vegetarian, I appreciate that they had good options for me.
We ordered out for a business lunch. I got the falafel sandwich - It was huge w lots of toppings. It was delicious. I think it could have had some extra tahini sauce but other than that it was nice.
We also got the hummus and tabouli on the side with pita pieces - the pita pieces were perfect - thick and soft, like it should be.
The two ladies at the restaurant were very sweet, helpful, and even gave us free samples so we could try before buying.
Will definitely come back!
The real name is Sarah's Greek Cuisine & more. This was the best gyro that I have ever had. I had it without the pita and the sides were delicious as well. It's worth the drive and I look forward to trying something different next time. The home made desserts looked awesome.
Food was great. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable.
PROS: food was fast hot and authentic. All items were well packaged for take out. They included folks and napkins for us. Good portion sizes.
Cons: A little bit pricey but you get your money's worth. Check your order to make sure you got all items.
We will definitely visit again. Thanks!
The food was good. The prices were fair. I wish it was cleaner. But, was acceptable we've been there several times and will visit again.
Found this close by while on vacation. Generous portions at a very reasonable price.
The lamb shank special was amazing! The gyro and gyro salad was excellent too. We'll probably be back later this week. Definitely a great find!
I've been here 3 times now and every time it's amazing. I always get the lamb kabob, with pita bread and hummus. I buy extra pita bread, it's delicious. The hummus is THE BEST. My friend got onion rings and loved them, but for me its the lamb and hummus. The wedding cookies are delicious, the people are friendly, and it's in the town center. I definitely recommend this place. I make an hour trip to go and I never regret it. Growing up on Jewish and Mediterranean food, this is what I'm used to!
Amazing food and great eatery for all kinds of different dietary needs .. Highly recommend. Extremely well worth the money..
After moving to central Florida from the Detroit area, my boyfriend and I were looking for a little taste of home. The food choices in this area are basically all chains which is very disappointing. When we found this little gem we were really excited! The food is absolutely amazing and the staff are very friendly. Our first visit in they even let us sample a lot of the food. We've come back a couple times since because it is so good! My only criticism of this place is the prices seem a bit high for what you get. Overall, this restaurant is definitely worth trying. You won't regret it.
Perfectly sized lunch plate. I had the chicken kabob with salad and fries. It was not exactly Greek tasting to me but we were told it was and Greek and Lebanese style so that is why some things were not as expected, but still tasted good. The tzatziki was not Greek tasting and was thin but was still good. The cookies were homemade and really good!
The people were friendly and it was clean.
It was about $15 per plate by the time we had water and a soda, plus 2 cookies and a $5 tip. We both were happy with our meals.
After dealing with a disaster at another restaurant, we went back here, the place we know and love, Sarah's! Food is always good and service is top-notch.
Rice with chick-peas is the bomb! Not to mention the chocolate mousse cake-yum!
The only reason Sarah didn't get a 5 star has to do with the restaurant itself. It doesn't look like much. But DO NOT let that fool you in any way. The food is fantastic!! 5 Star! Hands down, one of the Best Mediterranean places I have eaten ate in years. NY was the last place I ate this good.
Sarah, herself is a sweetheart. The service was excellent. And, as I said the food was FANTASTIC! We had hummus and the Baba Gahnoush appetizers and they were Yummy. The Baba Gahnoush (eggplant) was heaven. So Yummy we debated who could lick the plate and get away with it. We ordered the Kebab dinner combos and the Gyro, lamb, combo. The Kebabs were fresh, seasoned to perfection and tasted Yummy. The Greek salad was fresh and abundant. The Tabouli was a wonderful mix of fresh herbs, couscous, lemon and tomato. Again, YUMMY! The lamb Gyro was stuffed with lamb, seasoned well and moist (not all dried out and hard) and it had the right amount of tahini sauce, lettuce and tomato. I prefer mine without the onions.
You can see where this is leading. We loved it. Needless to say we all left stuffed to Contentment and Happy that we found a Great place to eat Mediterranean food in Clermont. If you didn't leave 100% satisfied, you didn't ask Sarah to fix it.
Do not let the drive to Cagan's Crossing stop you for enjoying it too! Sarah ROCKS and so does the crew she has working there behind the scenes. No pictures posted as there was enough to give you a good idea of what you will find.
Stopped in today for the first time. I let them know it was my first time and they offered to make me a sample platter of their offerings: hummus, tabbouleh, shawarma, etc. All so good! I ended up getting a lamb kebab and it was great. I'll definitely be back. I love Mediterranean food!
Came in here to get take out the other night. We both order 2 of the 3 specials. I got a chicken gyro with fries and a can of soda and fiance got a beef gyro with fries and a can of soda. We also ordered a side of humus and pita. Came out to about $24. Waited about 10 minutes for the food to be made. The guy was very nice (I think he was the owner) and gave us 2 extra things of tzatziki without charging us. It's clearly a family run place with the owners kids around (the restaurant is named after his daughter Sarah).
We took the food home, about 10 mins away, and dug in. My gyro was yummy and well seasoned. It wasn't dry and had the perfect amount of tazatziki on it. My fiance's gyro was good and he said the meat was tender. We both agreed that the fries weren't really anything special but they were good to dip into the humus. Now the humus on the other hand was amazing. It was smooth and tangy and exactly what I like in humus. The owner puts a little green peppper in the middle of the humus and it's absolutely the delicious. The pita that it came with left something to be desired though. It was really hard and I found myself dipping my fries into the humus more than the pita. At the end of the meal I felt full and happy.
I would definitely frequent this place again and look forward to trying other things on their menu!
Was on vacation and decided to eat here because we were sick of burgers. Ordered a Sharma, 2 gyros, hummus, and baklava. Was fantastic! We were so happy that night. Seriously, everything was so good. Go here!
I would've given it 5 stars but it seemed to be a bit pricy. The food itself was great.
This is the BEST Greek restaurant I've been to. Super fresh food and great customer service!
I'm going to start with dessert. The baklava cheesecake was absolutely genius. It apparently takes 17 hours to make, but it will be easily be in the top 10 best desserts that I have ever eaten. The cheesecake was fluffy and melt-in-your-mouth good. I have also eaten at many Greek restaurants in my lifetime, and this is the best that I have had since I lived in the New York area twenty years ago. The grape leaves were handmade. They normally serve a vegetarian cold version, but I asked for the meat (lamb) and luckily they had some from an order from a customer who ask them to make them special. I ordered gyro special with a sub of baba ganoush instead of fries ($1.99 more). The baba ganoush had a good smoky flavor with a touch of lemon. The gyro was properly cooked and tasted as expected , but the tzatzika sauce was spectacular and obviously homemade. I'm only here for another day, but I may return for dinner or to have the Greek omelette tomorrow morning for breakfast before my flight leaves back to Houston. This place is truly a treasure and the father and daughter team really puts out a fantastic product.
A wonderful family owned restaurant with great service. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't be fooled. The food is delicious!
My favorite go to dish is the gyro. It's filled with an abundance of lamb, onions, and tomatoes. They also top it with their fresh homemade tzatziki sauce. If you ask to make it a combo, you get a side of fries and a beverage for under ten dollars.
I've been here several times and haven't had a bad meal. Some of the items may be a bit pricey, but the size of the portions make it worth it. Also, if it's your first time there they give you a nice sample plate. The hummus is amazing!!
Great little stop for Gyros. I enjoy being recognized by the shop owners when I pop in. It's a nice treat when they have curly fries in. The inside is spacious and the location is perfect.
They have a great selection on food and the cost is reasonable. I appreciate them honoring a discount if you're a resident of Cagan.
First time here, the food was great and a lot to eat. I had enough left for a great lunch tomorrow. Great spot in a strip mall with an awesome staff. Family owned and operated. I will definitely return when I am in town again.
Just moved in the area and had to try this place. Had a gyro and a baklava and it was very very delicious. The staff is very friendly. Will defiantly be returning
Mom and I had chicken shawarma, lamb gyro, and chocolate mousse. Entrees were really good- chocolate mousse was very good. Very nice value :)
Great little spot at Cagans! I've only had the gyro, but I'm hooked! The combo is a great deal, and it includes a can of soda and a side of fries. You can eat in, or you can call ahead for pick up. Portions and prices are fair, and is a great alternative take-out option.
Always fresh & delicious. Starting from the Gyro , up to the sweets . The Greek salad is extremely delicious . Two kind of spinach pie you should try . Parking place is plenty . The checkin Gyro is really good with a good portion to be satisfied.
My husband and I are from out of town and both ordered the Gyro Dinner Plates. I got mine with a side of tabbouli and the other side as a Greek salad. The two sides were both VERY good, especially the tabbouli! I could've eaten a whole bowl of it! The gyro meat was good, but just sliced a little thin for my linking. Also the tzatziki was just ok. The 3 gentlemen working here were all very sweet. If we ever come back to this area, I'd be happy to eat here again!
Great, homemade, fresh Greek cuisine. Awesome service and the cooks are very friendly. I grew up where Greek restaurants are plenty and this spot the real deal. I usually judge a Greek spot by its hummus. There are too many sad frauds out there nowadays that should be embarrassed with how many "fillers" they add until the dish is not even recognizable anymore. This place makes the real deal.
They have a nice selection of Greek desserts, specials, and they also have Coke products on tap and a selection of canned beverages including San Pelligrino. Hubs and I both got their wraps, the gyro and the chicken kabob. Amazing, even their pita was perfect, fresh, soft with a hint of crisp and delicious. Everything is made when you order and the cook(owner?) told us he makes the hummus 2-3 times a day! None of that Publix tasting crap here. My husband LOVED their lamb and nearly inhaled the hummus while I was checking in on yelp and chatting up the cook about my love for Greek food. My fault! They were gracious enough to give us FREE extra pita without even asking because they saw we had so much hummus left. I love free, I love great customer service, and I love Greek! Yah! The prices were super reasonable also, I wish this place was near my house so I could eat it every week.
We were there for dinner and ordered the chicken shawarma dinner platter (with hummus and French fries) and vegetarian dinner platter (falafel, baba ghanoush, Greek salad). Both our platters were tasty, but we did not realize the platters did not come with rice - it must be chosen as one of your "sides". However, our platters did come with some nice warm pita.
If we went again, we would definitely choose rice as one side, because without it, our dishes didn't feel cohesive - felt more like appetizer platters. For the amount paid, around $12 per platter, we did feel like we still had a bit of room in our stomachs.
Overall the food was yummy, definitely a bit noisy and smokey (from the grill), but we didn't mind that. We would definitely try it again or order take out - the take out orders seemed to have a generous amount of food.
Best food! I love their falafel sandwich, chicken gyro, Greek salad and fries. But I'm sure everything they make is awesome. The owners are the nicest guys ever, and are great with remembering faces as well as your normal orders. I love coming here :)
Yummy chicken shawarma, every thing was tasty except the fries it was burned.
Overall I recommend this place.
Yum an explosion of flavor! Had the Greek salad with lamb sliced over. So good! The employee offered to have me try a small plate of samples, it was all wonderful and fresh. Great chicken and the marinade tastes so great.
It had been a long lime since i had Mediterranean food and me and the wife decided to try this place and we don't regret it. It was great. Food was fresh and cooked in front of us. We got there 10 minutes after they opened and the owner was very friendly he even after we told him that we where new to the food he even cooked small samples of all the meats and salads for us to have a better idea on what to order. Dessert was great too. We look forward to going back.
It was nice to see some variety in Clermont. We ordered chicken gyros, lamb gyros, and hummus, falafel, and baklava to go from here. Lamb gyros were a huge hit. I was pleased with the chicken gyro. The falafel and baklava were pretty good as well. Like other reviewers have noted, this place isn't the best, but we were happy to find it out in Clermont.
Very authentic and delicious! The restaurant was open at 10 and we came for 10:45 and were the only people in there. The owner was super friendly but gave us space to chat. The restaurant was clean and the food was fresh and came fast. I would most def come back to this joint
Credit where credit is due! In Davenport at son's lacrosse tournament and I stopped in to get Greek/Mediterranean in Clermont and it was fantastic. The owner used to own the place on Aloma and 436! Falafel was warm and crunchy and right out of the kitchen! The baba gannoush was so perfect and had a hint of a kick to it. The grape leaves were just light and cool and lemony. The hummus was classic and did not miss a beat. !So delicious!!
We've come here many times and love the food and the staff as well. The babaganoj (sp.?) is awesome. You can tell everything is made from scratch. Try the dessert baklava (sp.?) cheesecake - one of a kind made from scratch.
Still on Florida Dining quest...
Found my Greek connection down here in a little place called Sarah's Greek Cuisine & More in the Cagan Crossings shopping plaza!
I had just eaten but wanted to check out this little gem and see if they could sustain my Greek food addiction while in Florida!
The place is not fancy but is decorated nicely with murals of Greek scenery on the walls, dining area and a huge bakery showcase full of my weaknesses of fresh made Baklava in original and chocolate, cheesecake baklava, almond cookies, walnut cookies, Kataifa and much, much more! I'm in heaven!
I was squealing with delight when I saw their menu with all my favorites gyros, souvlaki, kabobs, spanokita, Pastichio, Moussaka, and much, much more!
I could not leave without anything so I decided on the daily special of a $5.99 lamb gyro with the works and their Tzatziki sauce generously swirled on top! You know that bad boy would not last long! I devoured it as soon as I hit home and it was perfect! For lunch you can have the meal for $8.99 or dinner $11.99!
Put this place on your dining list! They even serve Hookah outside on a variety of flavors!
Great Food. We had the gyro platters. Service was excellent. Friendly staff. And the plates were plentiful. First time we have ever gotten as much meat as french fries. Our plates were equally divided into three sections, one part meat, one part fries, one part Greek salad. Nice presentation. You could eat outside in the fresh air or opt for an inside table. All and all a wonderful lunch.
Oh my goodness. Such great food! Still quite new to the area we are glad we stumbled upon this wonderful casual Greek dining. We went at 5pm on a Wednesday evening and were the only couple in the restaurant, so a little quiet.
The decor is quite adorable, I wish they sold the flower vases and other really cute things!
The food was amazing. Because I can't remember what everything was called there's an awesomeness picture attached! Everything was served beautifully. We ordered the grape leaves (dolmades?) Which was the first time I've tried those, very good... Even better the next day warmed up a bit. The spanikopita was different than what I've ever had, homemade, and flavor filled... Which was a nice surprise, but wasn't what I expected my I'm on the fence if I'd order it again. The tatziki sauce tasted home made, again wonderful. Everything was great, moist, wonderfully presented and brought out very quickly.
Someone said it was pricy? I found it no more expensive than any other Greek I've been to.. Two dinners, one soda and two appetizers costed us $45. ($55 with tip) So about the going rate of a good dinner?
I had the gyro sandwich for lunch and my husband had the chicken salad. Everything was good. We received our food fast. The staff was very courteous. I will be going back
Everything was excellent. Don't forget dessert. They actually make their ownthe baklava is a culinary delight. It is the perfect balance of honey, nuts, and cinnamon. The best I've ever tasted
This is as authentic middle eastern home made food in a Resturant as it gets. I absolutely am in love with this place. Makes me feel like I'm eating back home. The beef shawarma is delicious, they cook the meat fresh when you order. It is marinated so it's super juicy and It has so much flavor and it's a pretty good size. Ask for Shata on it if you like A spicy kick to your food. And don't forget to try the sweets, they are all handmade and they are perfection.
Good place for lunch. I got a chicken kabob that was excellent, but a bit small. The good thing is that it comes with two side items -- I got humus kinds with pita bread. All in all it was really good. They also have baklava which is awesome ... some of the best I have ever had, and a baklava cheese cake, that sounds better than it is. I mean, it is a great idea, but in practice it just doesn't work out properly. The reason? Well the phyla dough that is used for baklava is really stiff, but guess what? Cheese cake is really soft. Now, with the baklava dough on top and cheese cake on bottom you know what happens? Squish. Yep, it is impossible to eat without completely destroying the desert. It tastes good, and looks good until you attempt to eat it, and then it flattens out. Really disappointing in truth. He needs to use less baklava and maybe only put the dough on the bottom for the crust, and maybe the honey and nuts on top of the cheese cake for topping and maybe it would be better. As it is, it is an interesting idea, but does not work out properly for fastidious eating. I would be back, but next time will not have the baklava cheese cake and will instead just stay with the baklava ... which is a great desert for the meal.
We were staying at a vacation rental not too far from here on our Disney trip and decided to get some dinner to-go so we didn't have to drive too far/spend too much money. Found this place right here on Yelp and decided to give it a shot.
There were only 2 people in the actual restaurant. An older man took our order. He wasn't super friendly, but reminded me of a mean grandpa or something that would yell at you for not taking your shoes off in the house and then proceed to make you gyros and tell you to eat something. Didn't bother me as much as that usually would.
The food was awesome. I got the falafel pita and it was really flavorful and light tasting. We advised my boyfriend's mom and dad to go there a couple nights later for take out and they really enjoyed it.
Delicious food and SUPER nice people!
They also offer a nice selection of home made bakery items too.
Always a great place to eat. Triditional greek food with a large menu. The staff is outstanding.
